The hopper that ships with the A-5 has a low profile and gives you a good view down the sights. Though the hopper has a low profile, it can hold up to 200 paintballs.
The Blitz 3 is a clear winner in some departments but. First, it is a whole lot cheaper than the A-5. More than $50 in fact. Now, you might have to spend some of that $50 to buy a hopper that you get free with the A-5. But still, savings are savings.
The Blitz 3 also has 5 firing modes as opposed to the one firing mode that you get with the A-5. The Blitz 3 is lightweight and easier to handle.
Another department where the Azodin Blitz 3 has a clear advantage is in the air efficiency department. The A-5 is a bit of an air-guzzler when compared to the Blitz 3.

If you are looking for a pure mechanical marker that is robust, durable and easy to take apart, the Tippmann A-5 is an easy choice. With stunning looks, a strong build and high-level of modability, it is a gun that you can play around with for a while. The downsides are that you are limited to a manual firing mode or have the option to spend $60 to get full-auto and still not having to use batteries.
With the Blitz 3 however, you have an electronic gun for an excellent price. There’s 5 firing modes, 1 of which is even programmable. It is more air-efficient than the A-5.
If you are purely a Woodsball player, we will probably say the A-5 is a good choice for you. If you rather prefer an electronic marker that will give you some versatile use in other formats of paintball, the Azodin Blitz 3 is a better option.
